June Perry

B.A., M.Ed., President & CEO

“Powerful messages have powerful impact; simple to say, hard to shape.”

June Perry is an entrepreneur. Recognizing broader opportunity, she left her position in the health care sector to start her own communications and marketing firm. Thirty years later, she has amassed a wealth of experience in communications and implementation of marketing strategies across a wide range of sectors including: health care, mining, oil and gas, tourism and hospitality, government and non-profit. She has led initiatives including brand development and extensive marketing campaigns, managed communications for major public enquiries, worked with Indigenous groups on self-government initiatives, and organized community relations and public consultations for the resource industry. She has also quarterbacked some of the most innovative and successful capital campaigns in Newfoundland and Labrador.

June holds a Master of Communications and Learning Resources degree from Memorial University, has been recognized by the Canadian Progress Club for her leadership, and is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal for significant achievement and community service. When not at work, June is in head down in the garden!

“We can learn a lot through gardening. The value in getting your hands dirty, the value of patience and the satisfaction of seeing a little hard work bring beauty to the world around you.”
