Home from The Sea Campaign launches contest

The Home from The Sea Capital Campaign is looking to raise awareness and engage supporters in their $2.5 million fundraising drive to build a Memorial Site and Interpretation Centre for sealers in Elliston, Trinity Bay.

Pilot° Communications has worked with the Home from The Sea team to create an online contest that offers the chance to win one of four prizes by donating $25 or more to the Sealers Memorial Campaign. As part of an integrated marketing and communications plan, Pilot° helped launch the contest through social media and e-mail marketing. Prizes include return airfare from anywhere Air Canada flies to St. John’s, NL for the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Memorial Site and Interpretation Centre in Elliston; return airfare from St. John’s to Toronto, hotel accommodations and a ticket to the Smiling Land Foundation’s annual Great Big Give; accommodations at Goose Cove Retreat in Trinity, NL; or designer seal skin boots from Topaz Arctic Shoes Norway.
